Jane Arrowsmith has had long and excellent experience in the field of residential care and education, including having worked in secure accommodation at one stage.

She successfully improved the quality of care and education in Oakbank School in Aberdeen.
Jane has been recognised as a leader in the field through the appointment by her peers as chair of the sector’s network, Association of Head Teachers in Residential Schools, now re-formed under the name, Educating Through Care Scotland.

Edmond Arrowsmith, because of his engineering background, has been instrumental in project managing many aspects of the building and ensuring high levels of health and safety.
