Troup House was officially opened by HRH the Princess Royal on 3rd July 2009. Her Royal Highness, accompanied by the Lord Lieutenant of the County, Claire Russell, met with staff and young people and invited guests on a glorious day of sunshine.

Her Royal Highness was presented with a brooch by one of the young people and clearly enjoyed her visit.

The young people rose to the occasion and everyone present enjoyed a memorable day.
