We aim to: Ensure that Troup House is an enjoyable, safe and productive place for both staff and young people to live and work; Promote positive interaction between staff and young people across the school; Provide therapeutic support for the development of young people and their well-being; Positively promote equality of opportunity for all pupils, irrespective of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, physical capabilities and ensure access to all areas of the curriculum across 24 hours; Promote high expectations for each young person and ensure that every young person has the appropriate experiences and opportunities to become confident individuals, successful learners, effective contributors and responsible citizens; and Provide a wide range of opportunities for national accreditation for all young people at appropriately challenging levels so that they can leave school with the best possible future options for living and learning.
