A major attraction for the young people is the ability to go sailing. Learning opportunities abound and include: safety at sea, rope work and sails, working and living together in the confines of a boat, basic seamanship, fishing for fish, crab and lobster, rules of the sea to avoid collision, buoyage, weather, tides, charts and electronic navigation.

The feelings of self worth and confidence are endless.

Achievements include the Royal Yachting Association day skipper and competent crew course and many relevant NQ courses. Future career opportunities include fishing, sailing and oil industry related options.
